weddings should be stress free

We love to photograph weddings. There is honestly nothing better than two people in love. I think most people will agree with that. When we photograph weddings, we love to capture the emotions, the story of the day and the little details, especially the little pieces that help make the day so memorable. While we do posed formals, our favorite shots of the day are usually the shots that our clients don’t realize that we have taken, the groom getting a pre-ceremony pep talk from his dad or the mother of the bride tearing up while looking at her daughter in her gorgeous white dress and veil. It’s moments like those that I really love.

The wedding day should be about the bride and groom, not the photographer. We love it when family and friends of our clients tell us that we are more fun than other photographers they have had to deal with in the past. Weddings should be fun, not full of stress. We believe that making your wedding day as stress free as possible is the way to go. While we do posed formals, we don’t want to spend the whole day posing people around, we want the day to unfold naturally so we work to get these done as efficiently as possible in order for our clients to enjoy their wedding day, it only happens once and it seems to go by so fast. It’s a good thing that pictures last forever. 😉 We want our clients to remember everything from their wedding day, from getting ready in the morning, to the emotion filled ceremony to the crazy break dancing during the reception.

I think that the best things that couples can do when looking for a photographer is to find someone that you really get along with, because honestly, the photographer is the person you will be hanging around with for most of the day and if you don’t mesh well, that will convey itself into the images. Take a look at a ton of photographers until you find the one that is right for you. We know that we may not be the right fit for everyone, but for those we do hit it off with, we create wonderful memories, and that is really all that matters.
