I thought I would channel some warm weather with today’s blog post! Mike and Kasandra got married this past June in Loganville and the weather was perfect for their wedding. I thought it might rain, but on the drive out there, the sun came out and the sky turned this gorgeous shade of blue. Mike and Kasandra were surrounded by family and friends and the whole day was so much fun. Kasandra didn’t bat an eye when I asked to steal the dress outside along with the rings which each of them had had inscribed without the other knowing. I love that!
The ceremony was perfect, Kasandra wore her mother’s cathedral length veil, which I think looks amazing inside the church. I love veil’s, but man was this one heavy. After the ceremony, we drove up to Trapper’s Turn in the Dells for the reception. Kasandra surprised Mike with a Sushi cake, it was amazing! Rob and I always share (whether he wants to or not, it’s a wife’s prerogative to make sure that her husband isn’t being poisoned, though).
The reception was filled with family and friends. We did, however, manage to steal Mike and Kasandra away for some shots out on the lawn with the red lit trees behind them. It was so much fun, and we wish them the best! Enjoy some of my favorites from the day!
